For many of my clients we are their 3rd or 4th dog trainer and they feel that their dog is pretty much untrainable, or they feel hesitant about paying for another dog trainer if its not going to work anyways... ​If you feel this way you are definitely not alone. I myself went through many different training styles until I found information that actually helped my dog! ​We will never say never, but we have never worked with a dog that was not trainable to some degree. All dogs can be trained, it just takes the right training and a lot of effort. ​So If you have a question about whether your dog can be helped please go look at some of our before and after videos on our Instagram and you will see that there is hope even for some of the craziest dogs :) (you might even find out that your dog isn't TOO bad)

Our answer is... the best ones. We use training techniques that work. We are balanced trainers which means that we incorporate many different techniques to help your dog succeed. Some of the most common things that we use are food training, praise/motivation, ecollar training, prong collar training, flat buckle collar, slip lead, treats, play as a reward or distraction. We really believe in using the training that is going to work the best for your dog which is why we use a variety of different tools. This allows us to teach YES and NO. That way we are able to teach both obedience commands and also stop unwanted behaviors.

We are located in North Ogden, Utah. For our Board and Train programs, we will do all of the appointments at your home so we can see your dog in its normal environment, and help to rewire the way they view your home. We do require you to drop your dog off to us in the beginning of the training, but all future appointents are done at your home. One on One Training sessions are done at our home or if you live within Layton and Brigham City.We also come to Hawaii semi annually to train dogs and check on our previous clients. While most of our programs are for dogs 6 months of age and up, we do train puppies. We can work with puppies as young as 12 weeks old, and we help with things like potty training, kennel training, basic obedience. Most importantly, we get you started in the right direction so you can avoid problematic behaviors like separation anxiety, resource guarding, and reactivity. We have a free puppy training series right now that will help you get your puppy off of on the right foot. We do not offer a multi-dog discount because it is actually a lot more work for us to train two dogs that come from the same household. We first train them separately and then we train them to do the behaviors together. We do offer payment plans to help with the cost, so feel free to reach out to us for more information!

We have a follow up appointment a week after your dog has finished our program so we can make sure they have adjusted well being back home. We also strongly encourage continued updates via text or phone calls to us with any training questions! We strive to give you the skills to work with your dog so you are not reliant on us, but we of course will happily help you if needed!Every appointment that we do with you is aimed to train you to be your own dog trainer. We happily will help you whenever you need us, but we also want to make sure you feel like you learned how to fix the issue so you can do it in the future.We also offer boarding to our board and train graduates, which allows us to work on any behaviors we see need correcting. Your dog will have liftetime refreshers that are free unless it is for a behavior like aggression that wasn't there before. In those cases, we do an assessment to see what is needed to stop that behavior.Space is limited, so we need notice in advance. Please refer to our board and play program for more information.

Yes! We understand that life is just getting harder, and your dog is probably not helping with that. We don't want money to be the reason your dog doesn't receive the training it needs to benefit your life, so we have a very flexible payment plan option. This is not through a third-party service so there is no application or credit check required. Our board and train programs require a $200 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot. This is because we only take a limited number of dogs at a time. The deposit goes towards your full cost, and we require a minimum payment of $1,000 at the start of the program. The remainder will be broken down to a comfortable payment plan that makes sense for you and us.
